Looking After your Bakes

Our bespoke cakes and sweet treats are freshly baked to order using only the finest, natural ingredients. Our bakes are all-natural meaning no artificial colours or preservatives!

Travelling with your cake

When transporting your cake, it is important to keep it flat and secure. Do not place your cake on the seat of your car. The cake is best placed in the passenger footwell or in the boot. Please remember to turn off the heat in your car and do not stack anything on top of the box or squish the sides.

Storing your cake

If you’re not slicing into your cake straight away, we would advise you to store your cake in the fridge to keep it cool and fresh. Do not leave your cake in direct heat or sunlight.

Preparing your cake

When you’re ready to tuck in, remove the cake from the fridge and allow it to return to room temperature, this may take approximately 3-4 hours but will depend on the temperature of your room.

As soon as the buttercream has a soft whipped double cream like texture, you know it’s ready to eat! If you do not allow the cake to return to room temperature the sponge and buttercream will be hard and the flavours may be dulled.

Shelf life

We bake all naturally which means no synthetic preservatives. As a result, cakes should be kept in the fridge where they will last for 3 days.
