Here at Honeytree Cakehouse we believe your wedding cake should taste as beautiful as it looks. That’s why all our wedding cakes are lovingly created from the finest, natural ingredients. We only use local free range eggs, English butter, sustainably sourced Belgian chocolate, ethically produced vanilla and organic flour from our local mill. All our conserves, curds and caramels are exclusively made in-house. We think this is what makes our flavours so special. If you have a particular flavour in mind that you can’t see on our menu, please get in touch. Bespoke flavours can be made upon request.

Each of our cakes contain four layers of delicate sponge interspersed with three generous layers of filling. Each cake is at least 5 inches deep and coated in a layer of indulgent Belgian white chocolate ganache and then a fine layer of luxury Swiss fondant icing with sharp edges. 


Consultations are by appointment only and are held via Teams or at our Honeytree Cakehouse kitchen in Little Leighs, Essex. You will be able to see some display cakes as well as look through previous cake designs for inspiration whilst we discuss your own ideas for your wedding cake. We’ll discuss the style of your wedding, your colour palette and any flavour preferences you may have. Please be aware, we do not charge for this service but we do limit these consultations to two people due to the size of our premises.


If you would like to try before you buy (and who wouldn’t), you will have the option to order some delicious samples which will include 5 of your chosen flavours from our cake menu. There is a small fee of £40 per box and these can be purchased via our website here


We would be delighted to create your wedding cake and to secure your date we ask for a non-refundable, non-transferable booking fee of £100. The final balance for your cake is due 60 days before your wedding day but don’t worry, we know there’s a lot going on for you around this time so we will send you a gentle reminder when the time comes.


We no longer offer naked, semi-naked or buttercream finish cakes, sorry, it’s just not our thing.


We will deliver and set up your cake on the morning of your wedding, to your chosen venue, at a time suitable to you. We deliver to venues across Essex, London, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire & East Anglia. Delivery is an additional charge of 50p per mile as a return journey.

Unfortunately, we do not offer customer collection of your wedding cake. Most tiered wedding cakes are stacked and finished at the venue due to their fragility. 


Many factors go into the price of your cake such as size, shape, flavour, quantity of sugar flowers, design complexity etc. However, this will give you an idea of the starting cost of our cakes. Please Note: We have a minimum order spend of £600. If you’re opting for a smaller wedding cake, you can make up the difference with edible wedding favours for your guests or dessert table. We have a range of pretty cake stands that can be hired to accompany your wedding cake. We charge £100 per stand to hire for 4 days as a deposit in case of loss or damage. The deposit will be refunded once you have returned the stand to us.
